The Shepherd's Staff
As shepherds watched
their flocks by night,
An angel appeared
with a glorious light.
They trembled in fear
as the angel drew near,
This is the good news
that night they did hear.
Behold I bring to you
great news this very day
For the Savior is born
is what the angel had to say.
Go and worship
this newborn King,
Salvation for all
Christ the Lord does bring.
