There Is Always Tomorrow

The giving of Christmas, the joy of Christmas, the peace on earth of Christmas is not just for December 25 and the few days leading up to it. Christmas is for tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow.
Every day the world is full of people who need the special something that makes Christmas what it is. What is this something? It is something of ourselves. We could coin a thousand names for it --- including love --- and never really name it. But we know when we have given it. We feel just a bit taller, knowing that we have made another feel a little happier. It is a warm feeling. it's a feeling of ... Christmas! And every day in the year is a good time to feel it --- by helping someone else feel it.
Soon we will be crossing the threshold into the new year. May we carry with us into the world of tomorrow the remembrance that ... every day dawns as a new opportunity to begin again.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
