God as Principle

We enrich this day with a new appreciation of God as Principle. This concept is no different from God as Love --- it simply conveys that God is a loving certainity upon which we can create a life of love, joy, abundance and perfect health.

God as Principle can be extremely reassuring. It means the power of God is constant, steady and knowable. God as Principle will always respond the same way if we are willing to remember and apply appropriate laws. It is God as Principle that we address with affirmative prayer --- not beseeching a God who might change His mind, but calling upon God as Principle in full faith that we will always receive a response of love, support and empowerment.

But what if we choose not to recognize Principle, not to align ourselves with the power of God in our lives? Are we thereby exempt from the Spiritual energies of the universe?

Not at all. We do not affect Principle by declining to accept it. We only affect ourselves, placing our life experience at odds with the flow of life. Truth is constant and steady, whether we ignore it or not. The only difference is that when we resist it, we limit ourselves to a partial view of reality and a shallow mode of existence.
