Jesus Christ

Today we set aside any doubts or discomforts with the role of Jesus Christ, and recognize that He is asking no more of us than that we allow Him to love and support us in our process of Spiritual awakening. We are to become not Jesus Christ, but our own unique expression of the Christ; and we accept with deepest gratitude the help freely given that Jesus offers --- help that will speed our journey and deepen each experience of  life. Thank You, Jesus Christ, for Your example, Your hope and Your love.

Jesus Christ demonstrates the possibility of oneness with God that is inherent in us. Jesus the man became totally one with the Christ of God within Him, so that physical limitations had no meaning; prosperity and healing laws of God expressed instantaneously. Even death, our ultimate illusion, was meaningless in the face of the eternal power of Christ.

"The one who believes in me will also do the works that I do" (John 14:12), He assured His disciples and, by extension, us. In perfectly Spiritualizing His life experience, He was showing us our own possibility.

Jesus Christ is still available to us as Teacher, Guide and Support. If we insist on focusing on His death as an expression of love, we miss the point. The point of His demonstration was to teach us that death has no reality, not to give it greater reality as a means of noble sacrifice. Having achieved His level of perfect Spiritual expression, Jesus did not need to stay around. In His willingness to continue as our Teacher and Support, we recognize the indescribable love that is the  Truth of Christ.
