Easter Sunday
April 8, 2012
This is a day of Resurrection. I am a new creation in Spirit.
The Easter story suggests that it is more important to have something to look forward from. When we look forward from a consciousness of unity with life, oneness with God, all work, play, relationships and religion become inner-centered. We become more concerned with what we can give to life than what life is giving to us. And the Resurrection becomes not just another miracle, but a timeless quality of life.
There is a need to forgive and forget, to let go the crucifixion and the blame fixing and self-limiting concepts about it. A far more relevant symbol might be the empty tomb, the perfect circle.
Mark 16:6 But he said to them, "Do not be alarmed, you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised; he is not here. Look, there is the place they laid him.
