Don't Try to Understand
Don't try to understand
The wonders of His love,
Or how He made the ocean
And clouds and sky above.
Don't try to understand
Why to the cross He went,
And gave His life for us
For pardon Heaven-sent.
For if we tried a lifetime
To understand His ways,
His power and His mercy,
His care for us each day.
We'd never comprehend,
It's just too much for us,
So let us just accept
And praise, obey, and trust.
