MORAL STORY (Puppies For Sale)

Puppies For Sale

A farmer had some puppies that he needed to sell. He painted a sign advertising the pups and nailed it to a post in his yard. When He finished nailing it to the post, as he turned around he saw a young boy looking at the sign.
"Sir", the boy said. "I want to buy one of your puppies."
"Well," said the farmer, these puppies come from a good breed and cost quite a bit of money."
The boy dropped his head for a moment. Then reaching deep into his pant pocket he pulled out a handful of change and held it up to the farmer. "I've got thirty-nine cents. Is that enough to take a look?"
     "Sure" said the farmer.
Then the farmer whistled very loudy. "Here Dolly!" He called. Suddenly, out from the doghouse and down the ramp ran Dolly followed by four little balls of fur. The little boy pressed his face against the chain link fence. His eyes danced with delight. As the puppies made their way to the fence, the little boy noticed something else stirring in the doghouse.
Slowly another puppy, very noticably smaller, appeared. Down the ramp it slid. Then in a somewhat awkward manner, the little puppy began hobbling toward the others, doing it's best to catch up.
"I want that one!" the little boy said excitedly as he pointed to the little runt that just came out.
The farmer knelt down at the boy's side and said, "Son, you don't want that puppy. He will never be able to run and play with you like these other dogs would."
Then the little boy stepped back from the fence, reached down and began rolling up one leg of his trousers. Doing so, the boy revealed a steel brace running down both sides of his leg attached to a specially made shoe. as evidence that his leg had been amputated.
He looked at the farmer and said, "You see, sir, I don't run too well myself and he will need someone who understands."

The world is full of creatures who need someone who understands.

MORAL: Everyone of us have our own shortages and weaknesses. But if we are willing to, we can make advantages of our shortage and weaknesses instead of opposing them. In the eyes of the wise, NOTHING is wasted! DON'T let your weaknesses become a roadblock. It is in our weaknesses that we find strength.

Isaiah 40:29  He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.                                                                                                           (NIV)
