Be still my heart! The stars hold sway
Above the world tonight
Far in the east one pulses with
A pure and holy light.
Be still my heart! The bells will soon
Their joyous anthem ring.
But now above their towers I hear
An angel chorus sing.
Be still my heart! This song I hear.
This glowing star I see,
Bear witness to the fact that Christ
Is born again in me.
