On the ninth day of Christmas,
my true love gave to me...
Nine Ladies Dancing,
Eight Maids A-milking,
Seven Swans A-swimming,
Six Geese A-laying,
Fiiivvve Gold Rings,
Four Calling Birds,
Three French Hens,
Two Turtle Doves
and a Partridge in a Pear Tree.
Nine Ladies represent
The nine fruits of the Spirit:
1) love, 2) joy, 3) peace, 4) patience
5) kindness, 6) generosity, 7) faithfulness
8) gentleness and 9) self-control
